We’ve styled weddings at Hawkesyard Estate, near Rugeley, many times over the last 13 years, and we feature in the venue’s wedding brochure as one of their recommended suppliers. Here’s how we styled Ryan & Kayleigh’s wedding there, and what we’ve learned about the venue along the way.

Ryan & Kayleigh’s sky blue blossom wedding

Ryan & Kayleigh came to us knowing they wanted blossom trees, a sky blue colour scheme with white florals, and full styling for their big day. They married at Hawkesyard on 26 May 2026, with the ceremony in the Lister Suite, florals along the stairs, and the wedding breakfast and reception in the Armitage Suite.

The ceremony in the Lister Suite

We laid an ivory aisle carpet with petals and lanterns along it, and 4ft white blossom trees on acrylic stands either side. At the end of the aisle, our 10ft blossom arch trees stood behind the ceremony table, draped in sky blue with rose and gypsophila flowers.

Every chair had a white chair cover, and the aisle chairs had side-tied sky blue chiffon hoods with flower ties.

The welcome and the stairs

Guests were greeted by a personalised welcome mirror on a white easel with florals, and a seating plan. Hawkesyard has such beautiful stairs, so we added florals all along the stair railings, and our pedestal postbox sat on a sky blue table runner with bud vases and tealights to match.

The wedding breakfast in the Armitage Suite

For the reception, the blossom arch trees stood behind the top table for ten, with full-length florals, tealights and a sky blue table skirt. All the round tables had sky blue runners and our 4ft white blossom table trees, with glass silver beaded charger plates and table numbers, and the chairs had white covers with sky blue chiffon hoods and pearl buckles.

We finished the room with our 5ft white love letters, a cake hoop on a table decorated to match, and a crisp stand.

What we’re proudest of

Ryan & Kayleigh were an easy couple to work with, and the venue is always good, so there were no problems to solve on the day. The best part was seeing the couple at the end of their day, so happy with their family.

what can I say apart from wow sian decorated our venue for our wedding. it was everything I wanted and more. The decor was absolutely stunning and classy. Styling your wedding at Hawkesyard

We’ve seen improvements at the venue over the years, like new flooring and a groom room, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Here’s what we’d tell any couple getting married there:

Any colour scheme works. The venue has neutral décor, so couples can choose any colour scheme and it works perfectly.
There’s room for an arch. All of our arch and tree options work well here, as there’s good ceiling height in all the rooms.
Linen is usually provided. The venue generally provides white linen and napkins.
Dress the aisle. Our aisle carpet works well to enhance the aisle.
Make the most of the stairs. Adding florals, candles or even love letters to the staircase makes for amazing photos.
Setting up is easy. The venue have always been great to work with, arranging set-up and collection times.
